Buenos Aires, Argentina

Trade Sky Bar

Stylish rooftop bar/lounge on the 19th floor of a downtown office building; great city views and oddly great cocktail program.

Prune

Stylish boutique with high-quality leather accessories / bags / shoes and apparel.

Samples Studio

Beautiful, minimalist, streetwear brand. Love the style and prices are reasonable too - they don't have everything online in the store, but can ship to the store in a few days.

Carmen Pasta

Fresh, handcrafted pasta and other Italian dishes with a mix of traditional and modern techniques. The street and interior design are incredible.

Victor Audio Bar

Live vinyl DJs most nights with a hi-fi sound system, but still quiet enough to have a conversation. Really great cocktails and decor too.

Al Diablo Coffee Roasters

Really good coffee with a very tranquil patio in the back. Plenty of outlets as well if you need to get some work done.

Mambo Restoran

Great food in a beautiful warehouse-style space with high ceilings. The wine list is special - rotating list of natural wines by the glass from Argentina that changes basically every day.

Lardito

Trendy wine-store-meets-restaurant with intimate and stylish vibe and small plates.

Mengano

Intimate but lively dinner in Palermo Soho, one of the best meals in the city. Limited vegetarian options but enough. Elevated Argentinian.

PICSA

Popular Argentinian-style wood-fired pizzas (thick, focaccia-like crust) in a casual but lively corner.

Boticario

Very unique, pharmacy-themed cocktails bar with drinks that you won't find anywhere else. Clarifications, distillations, pickling, etc.; they're doing it all and they're doing it really well.

Kiddo Burger

Casual local burger spot known for fast but delicious food - simple, quick service, very good for takeout.

TERRASOHO

Not the greatest interior but probably the best espresso in Buenos Aires. Also usually quite empty so not a problem to camp out for a while.
